우리는 2020년 코로나 팬데믹 사태에서 원격교육 플랫폼이 절실한 태국의 교육현장에 CGA(Confederation St. Gabriel’s Alumni Associations of Thailand, 태국교육재단들의 동창회연맹)와 협력하여 CGA 산하 교육재단들의 각급 학교에 학교간, 교실간 원격교육을 성공리에 지원하였으며, 태국 교육방송 15개 채널을 학생들의 개인 휴대용 단말기에서 시청할 수 있는 eduTV 서비스를 2013년 8월 10일 개시하면서 CGA 의 주도로 2023년 9월 27일 태국의 교육재단이사장 전국총회를 개최하여 CGA 가 콘텐츠를 제공하고 태국의 교육재단들이 자신들 재단의 학생들을 구독자로 제공하는 Pay per View 구독형 이-러닝 서비스를 eduTV 기반으로의 시행을 결의하여 1차 CGA 산하의 고등학교 3학년생으로부터 가입을 시작하여 CGA 산하의 고등학교 1.2학년과 CGA 이외의 고등학교 1.2.3학년생 등 약 200만명이 우선적으로 등록하고 점차적으로 중학생, 초등생, 유치원생은 물론 대학생들까지 1,300만 태국 학생들이 eduTV 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 성장합니다.

eduTV 서비스는 수강료를 지불하는 Pay per View 형태의 유료 서비스로써 약 30~40%의 학생들이 가난으로 인하여 수강료를 지불할 수 없음이 예상됨에 따라 가난한 학생들의 학습권에 대한 침해를 방지하고자 기독교단과 협력하여 학생들이 선교방송의 시청을 통하여 보상을 얻도록 하여 얻은 포인트를 수강료 지불에 사용할 수 있도록 합니다. 그러나, 학생들이 보상으로 받은 포인트는 수강료 지불에 충분하지 않음으로 학부모형제자매들이 선교방송의 시청과 TV 방송광고의 시청 및 참여를 통하여 얻은 보상을 학생에게 기부할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 mineTV 앱을 2023년 8월에 런칭하였으며, 태국의 7,500만 전국민이 디지털 방송을 시청하기 위한 국민 플랫폼 프로젝트를 태국의 방송통신위원회(NBTC)와 태국의 디지털방송협회(ADTEB)와 함께 추진하고 있으며 태국을 발판으로 인접국가를 넘어 전 세계인의 디지털 방송 시청 플랫폼으로 성장합니다.

아울러 우리의 혁신적인 기술인 Smart IP Cloud TV Interactivity Service 인 mineTV 는 시청자들이 얻은 보상 포인트를 TV 광고상품의 온-라인 거래에 사용할 수 있는 근린상가 당일배송 사전.사후 서비스 보장의 후불결재 대화형 TV 전자상거래 를 전 세계적으로 확대하여 나갈 것입니다.

OTT 기반의 디지털 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스는 초기부터 최소한 10 Gbps 의 대용량 인터넷 백본과 시스템을 안정적으로 운영할 수 있는 인터넷 데이터 센터가 필요하며 이는 월 수 억원의 비용이 지출되어야 합니다. 이러한 막대한 비용의 절감을 위하여 우리는 태국의 증권거래소에 상장된 대형통신사 중 ALT TELECOM GROUP 과 합작으로 그들이 제공한 건물/전력/공조시스템/무정전시스템/인터넷백본(최대 9 Tera bps)에 우리의 Smart IP Cloud TV Platform을 구축하여 우리의 서비스를 위한 전용의 Digital Multimedia Streaming Center 를 건립하였습니다.

우리는 이러한 서비스를 실현을 위하여 열악한 인터넷 환경에서도 디지털 HD TV 와 동일한 OTT 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 Smart IP Cloud TV Platform 의 연구개발을 1991년부터 시작하여 2004년 제품화를 완성하여 전 세계에서 유일하게 상용화하였으며 2012년 11월 태국의 국영통신사인 TOT 에 본 플랫폼을 발표하여 2013년 2월 태국의 국영통신사인 CAT 와 TOT 의 요청으로 OTT 와 IPTV 듀얼 플랫폼에 대한 개념증명(PoC, Proof of Concept)을  2013년 3월에 완료하고 2013년 5월 3일부터 14일까지 양일간 CAT 회장, 태국정부의 정보통신기술부 차관 등 고위급 인사가 한국을 방문하여 과 한국정부의 정보통신부 고위급 인사 등과 함께 Kickoff 를 시작으로 2013년 12월 26일 우리의 Smart IP Cloud TV Platform 의 테스트-베드의 구축을 완료하고 태국 각 지방에서 셋톱박스 기반의 현지 테스트를 시작으로 우리의 플랫폼의 태국 현지화를 시작하여 2016년 6월 7일 삼성전자의 스마트 TV 에도 디지털 HD TV 와 동일한 수준의 화질과 품질 및 서비스(1초 이내의 채널 재핑) 만족을 달성하였습니다. 이러한 전차로 우리는 태국에 인터넷 상황에 최적화된 플랫폼과 서비스의 역량을 갖추었으며 현재의 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 2018년부터 태국의 교육재단과 통신사업자 등과 제휴를 추진하여 오늘의 서비스를 제공하기에 이르렀습니다.

우리가 보상으로 지급하는 포인트는 보안성을 위하여 이더리움 블록체인 ERC-20 기반으로 10억개의 TCG TOCKEN 이 발행되었으며 XBTS 블록체인과 융합하여 트랜잭션당 3원 미만의 가스비를 소요하기 때문에 전술한바와 같이 eduTV 와 mineTV 서비스에서 시청자 보상 플랫폼을 구현합니다. 더 나아가 우리의 스트리밍 서버는 12,000 동시 접속을 수용시에도 중앙처리장치(CPU)의 사용률은 30% 미만으로써 70%를 블록체인으로 활용함으로써, 이를 통하여 블록체인 사용보상으로 50%를 돌려받게 됩니다. 따라서 결과적으로 트랜잭션당 실제 전송 수수료는 0원을 달성할 수 있습니다. 10억개의 TCG는 본 프로젝트의 Smart IP Cloud TV Platform 구축비용으로 6억개가 Smart IP Cloud TV Platform 구축에 배정되었으며, 2억개는 eduTV 와 mineTV 시청자 보상으로 배정되고 1억개는 차세대 메인-넷 개발비로 예비되어 있으며 1억개는 본 프로젝트를 추진한 팀원들의 보상비로 예비되어 있습니다.

Smart IP Cloud TV Platform 구축에 배정된 6억개의 TCG 중 약 5천만개 가량이 Pre-sell 되었으며 2022년 최종 단가는 70원이며, 현재 탈중앙화 거래소인 XBTS 에서 약 0.23 USDT 단가를 형성하고 있으나 거래가 활성화 되어있지 않은 상황이나 mineTV 구독자의 증가에 따라 TV방송 광고주들이 광고 시청자들의 목표집단 데이터를 얻기 위하여 TCG 의 구매가 필요하므로 2024년 태국의 암호화폐거래소인 ORBIX 에 약 10 바트(0.286 USD)의 단가로 상장할 예정이며, ORBIX 에서 거래되는 TCG 의 수량이 광고주들이 구매하고자 하는 수량의 30~40%에 불과함으로 TV방송 광고주들은 XBTS 에서 그들이 필요로 하는 TCG의 60~70%를 구매하게 될 것입니다.

During the 2020 COVID pandemic, recognizing the critical need for e-learning platforms in Thailand's educational sector, we partnered with the Confederation St. Gabriel’s Alumni Associations of Thailand (CGA) to successfully support between school and school as well as between classroom and classroom remote education across each classroom of all each school under the CGA education foundations. Additionally, we launched the eduTV service on August 10, 2023, enabling students to access 15 channels of educational broadcasting in Thailand on their personal devices. Under CGA's leadership, a national conference of the chairmen of all education foundations in Thailand was held on September 27, 2023, and they resolved to implement a Pay per View subscription-based e-learning service on the eduTV platform of the TRION with CGA. CGA provides e-learning content, and the Thai education foundations drive subscriber engagement. The service subscriber registration began with third-year high school students from schools under CGA for the first time. It then expands to include first and second-year high school students from CGA-affiliated schools, as well as High school students of all grades from non-CGA schools, with approximately 2 million students registering within 2024. Over time, the service is planned to extend to middle school, elementary school, kindergarten students, and even college students, expecting to reach about 13 million Thai students in total.

The eduTV service is a Pay-per-view type of paid service where students pay a tuition fee. It is anticipated that about 30-40% of students will be unable to afford the fee due to poverty. To prevent infringement on the educational rights of these impoverished students, we collaborated with Christian organizations to allow students to earn rewards by watching missionary broadcasts. The points earned can be used to pay for their tuition fees. However, the points received as rewards are not sufficient to cover the full tuition fee. Therefore, to enable parents and siblings to donate their earned rewards to the students, we launched the mineTV app in August 2023. This app, initially for Thai citizens to watch digital broadcasts, is intended to grow into a national app for 75 million people in Thailand and eventually expand to become a global app for people worldwide.

Additionally, our innovative technology, the Smart IP Cloud TV Interactivity Service known as mineTV, will be globally expanded. This expansion will enable viewers to use their earned reward points for online transactions of TV-advertised products, through a postpaid interactive TV e-commerce service that offers Neighborhood store TV e-commerce, worldwide.

OTT-based digital multimedia streaming services require, from the outset, at least a 10 Gbps high-capacity internet backbone and an internet data center capable of stable operation, incurring costs of several hundred million won per month. To reduce these substantial costs, we have partnered with ALT TELECOM GROUP, a major telecommunications company listed on the Thailand Stock Exchange. Through this collaboration, we have constructed our own Digital Multimedia Streaming Center, by establishing our Smart IP Cloud TV Platform on their provided facilities, including building/power/uninterrupted power supply systems/high ability redundant system/internet backbone (up to 9 Tera bps).

To realize this service, we started the research and development of the Smart IP Cloud TV Platform in 1991, designed to deliver OTT service equivalent to digital HD TV even in poor internet environments. The product development was completed in 2004, leading to its unique global commercialization. In November 2012, we introduced this platform to Thailand's state-owned telecom company, TOT. Following requests from both TOT and CAT, another Thai state-owned telecom company, we completed the Proof of Concept (PoC) for the OTT and IPTV dual platform in March 2013. From May 3rd to 14th, 2013, high-level officials including the Chairman of CAT, the Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technology of Thailand, and senior officials from the Korean Ministry of Information and Communication initiated the kickoff of the project in Korea. This led to the completion of the test bed for our Smart IP Cloud TV Platform on December 26, 2013. Consequently, local testing began in various Thai regions using set-top boxes, marking the start of localizing our platform in Thailand. By June 7, 2016, we had achieved the same level of quality and service as digital HD TV on Samsung Electronics' Smart TVs, with channel zapping within 800 ms. With these advancements, we have developed a platform and service capabilities optimized for the internet environment in Thailand. Since 2018, we have pursued partnerships with Thai educational foundations and telecommunications operators to provide the current service offerings.

To enhance security, we issue rewards in the form of 1 billion TCG TOKENs based on the Ethereum blockchain's ERC-20 standard. These tokens are integrated with the XBTS blockchain, consuming less than 3 won in gas fees per transaction. As previously mentioned, this implementation allows us to establish a viewer reward platform for the eduTV and mineTV services. Furthermore, even when our streaming server accommodates 12,000 simultaneous connections, the central processing unit (CPU) utilization rate is less than 30%, so 70% is utilized as blockchain, and through this, 50% is refunded as blockchain usage compensation. Therefore, as a result, the actual transmission fee per transaction can be achieved at 0 won. Out of the 1 billion TCG TOKENs, 600 million are allocated for the construction costs of the Smart IP Cloud TV Platform in this project, 200 million are allocated for viewer rewards in eduTV and mineTV, and 100 million are reserved for the development of the MAIN-NET. Additionally, 100 million are designated as compensation for the team members who drove this project forward.

Out of the 600 million TCG tokens allocated for the construction of the Smart IP Cloud TV Platform, approximately 50 million have been pre-sold. The final unit price in 2022 is 35 won, and it is currently trading at approximately 0.23 USDT on the decentralized exchange XBTS, although trading activity is not very active. However, starting from June 2024, it is expected to be listed on ORBIX, Thailand's cryptocurrency exchange. TV advertisers will require TCG purchases to obtain target audience data of viewers. It is anticipated that the initial listing price on ORBIX will be 10 baht (0.286 USD), and this is expected to activate trading. Given that the quantity of TCG traded on ORBIX will be only 30-40% of what advertisers need, TV advertisers are likely to purchase 60-70% of their required TCG from XBTS.
